    I'm bit confusing with AD HOC QURIES can you plz give some guidence of AD HOC QURIES

    what are differences between T-SQL Quries and AD HOC QURIES

    Where we can use this AD HOC QURIES in MS SQL SERVER because here SSAS also some times using this ADHOC QURIES and in Some scripts also we are using this can you plz guide me.

    For example you write a quries using T-SQL which need the data from another SQL Server then the qurie is called AD HOC Quries

  • Ad hoc queries is a general term for asking the database a question by writing a query, as opposed to simply running a query or report that has already been created for you.
