Controlling Auxiliary Power in Windows CE .NET RRS feed

  • Question

  • Guide me please with any suggestions/articles to look for controlling the auxiliary power in
wince 4.2 device using vc++.The api provided by vendor is currently not working[It worked previously].The port is not responding to any api calls, I wish to fix it as web searches / contacting the vendor has become fruitless. Its a Samsung Processor.I opened the device and clicked the reset button.Removed the CMOS battery and tried again.

How a auxiliary power control works? Generally where will be the device driver and how it looks in a registry?.

Other port controls[LED,I/O ports with 12V ] through the same api is working. This port has become unresponsive.I wish to understand the auxiliary power control architecture too.

  • All the device specific drivers are available in your device Board supportt packages (BSP). if you have the BSP for your device, you can find the coresponding device drivers in the following path <BSP>\SRC\Drivers.

All the registry settings related to your BSP is in the <BSP>\Files\platform.reg.
