Email from calendar RRS feed

    Firstly apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but I am new to sharepoint and have inherited a sharepoint application that needs to have a moderated room booking calendar site.  I have started building this.

    One of the first criteira is that when a room is booked an email needs to be sent to the creator informing them that the booking has been recieved and also to the moderator that the booking needs approving.

    Using SharePoint Designer 2007 I have created a workflow with 2 steps:

      • If created between Today and Today - Email Moderators (Group I've setup with relevant people in it - me)
      • If created between Today and Today - Email Calendar: Created by

    The problem I am having is that these emails are not being sent, yet othewr part of the application send email properly - the designer has left, so I can't ask what he did.

    Would really appreciate help with this (or links to relevant sites) as this site is to replace the Public Folder version we have in Exchange 2003 prior to our upgrade to Exchange 2010.
