Mad as Hell !!!

    Question

  • I am a developer using visual studio 2015. This morning in the midst of programming VS crashed and then restarted. When it restarted, it informed me that this had occurred in order to install an automatic VS update. Numerous lines of code were missing on the restart. Why would you want to treat people this way? I don't need much more to drive me to Linox or Unix and Java and I am very tempted to begin cursing...

  • Hi FuzzyRider,

I am sorry to hear that. I have encountered the similar situation before.

Since then I will save and backup all my code during developing the program. So I suggest you'd better use save code as much as possible.

By the way, you can disable the Automatically update extensions(Tools->Options->Environment->Extensions and Updates)

    Best Regards,
