Error Message When Click Link

I have a report that contains a URL hyperlink. The Hyperlink is to a document.

When I click the Hpperlink I get a 404 cannot be found error.

The path to the document is correct I just keep getting this error.

Any ideas?

What document? you need to include the extension in mimmetype list in iis

its a .doc  which is already in the mime type of iis .. must be something else ??

File path should in as url not the exact path,

http://localhost/yourapplication/path/filename with extension

not like 

c:\filepath\filename

and also check for the existence of file in the server

check the url by open it directly at address bar. compare with your link
