I would like to know if Metro style apps can exploit a WCF service on the same machine that was installed in the desktop environment. Thanks in advance.

Hi Frank,

I already reference this sample you given. This is very useful!

But more question I have : "Can we make our Metro app to become a WCF server ?"

If so, we can let our Metro app and local server communicate each other .

Otherwise, any way to implement Metro app and desktop app communicate bidirectly?
