how to track a trigger execution from a C# application RRS feed

  • I created a c# application and i want the application to be notified when a trigger is fired. how do i go about it?

  • You'll need to provide a lot more information such as what a trigger is.  A DB trigger, for example, is internal to the DB so you can't get notification when it occurs.  If you wanted to receive a notification when a file on the file system changed then you'd use FileSystemWatcher.  If you wanted to watch for a database table change then you'd use notification services in SQL.  If you wanted to know when a user clicked on a button on your form then you'd be using eventing.  Refer to the various tutorials in MSDN for examples of how to do that.
