Redistributable rdlc editor? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there any usable rdlc editor?

I'm using reportviewer control in local mode. Customer says that he want to edit the format and layout of rdlc file. We cannot let him install another copy of Visual Studio of course. RDLC is an xml file, but hard to edit in a text editor. So is there any redistributable rdlc editor from Microsoft?

  • Report Builder requires a SQL Server license.  It does not edit RDLC files.
