add a table through ServerDocument in word 2007 RRS feed

  • I'm creating a little document-level customization for Word 2007. I faced a little problem with the list of data taken from a db. I want to display this data in a table. How can a add or manage an existing table (add rows/cells) in the docx file using the ServerDocument class? Is this possible to do by CachedData? I think, because this is a server solution, the PIAs are not available. I cant see any table content control available in the Developer tab.

  • Hi lszk86,

    It's based on my experience that ServerDocument will insert Data into CachedData and you need add or managed the table in your document-level customization. The ServerDocument only provide Data, it will not create any visible document content in you document-level application.
