Messagebox displayed without reason. Shows exception message, but no exception thrown. The "try catch" block can't catch it. RRS feed

  • Messagebox displayed without reason.  Shows exception message, but no exception thrown.  The "try catch" block can't catch it.

The winform runs ok.  doesn't even crash.  but a stupid messagebox with a false exception message appears.  Don't want the user to see this.

I didn't put code here becuase its not an excpetion.  if it was, then the try catch block would be able to trap and log it.  The try catch block can't catch it in the exception clause of the try catch block.

The real question.  Is there a way to stop this messagebox show?
    - we don't call messagebox show.
    - we don't inherit from any class doing it.
    - We even tried to tried a "try catch" block with nothing in the exception clause to drop the exception on the floor and continue.
