Problem with vs web designer code window not scrolling RRS feed

    Hi All,

I have just installed VS web designer express 2010 and the code windows is not scrolling properly and makes using it impossible as you can't read the code. I am on Windows 7 64 bit.

I found a web page that the user had a similar issue but was able to fix it by increasing the GDIProcessHandleQuota in the registry but this did not help.

    http://irwinj.blogspot.com/2010/11/visual-studio-2008-garbled-text-in-xaml.html

I have reinstalled the application but still no use.

Most searches deal with problems using text or scroll in applications people have developed but not with the designer itself.

    Has anyone any ideas?

    Hi AndrewIOM

Sorry for the issue that you are hitting.

I think you could consider posting this issue that VS web designer express 2010 windows is frozen to Microsoft connect(http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio), and Microsoft engineers will evaluate this issue seriously.

    hope it helps you,

    Kind regards

Just an update. Removed visual studio 2010 completely cleaned the registry. Reinstalled the .net framework Reinstalled visual studio 2010 but still have the same problem. Looks like I will need to reinstall windows for the second time thanks Microsoft.
