Logo on SharePoint List RRS feed

  • I want to add a logo on sharepoint list, when ever i add new item, Logo will appear on top of the list.

  • you are better of adding the image via a Content Editor Web part rather than using SPD. This will prevent the newform.aspx from being unghosted.

    to add cewp on the newform.aspx add this extra query string parameter to your url http://domain/site/lists/listname/newform.aspx?toolpaneview=2.

    This will let you add a webpart on the newform.aspx

  • You want to hardcode the pic to Custom List or you want to appear image only when new item added.

  • when i click on new item, form will appear, where i will fill the feilds (like subject, ect...) the image will apear on top

  • i have tried with SPD, just edit the page and paste the logo on top, seems good, does it work ?

  • Yaa it will work but on production you need to repeat the same work as have changing you design through SharePoint Designer. If you want to create WSP file so that when you deploy the Solution It will automatically change the design on production, you need to look following URL:
