Biztalk 2010 Recovery: Need File RestoreConfig.vbe RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all.

I need to recover a Biztalk Server Standard Edition 2010 and for that i need the file "RestoreConfig.vbe" as mentioned in the documentation of microsoft: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa561857.aspx

But when i click the link it leads me to the Microsoft Download Portal.

Does anyone still have this file or is anyone aware where to get it?

    BR,

    Steve

  • That page is a bit nonsensical.  In addition to the missing RestoreConfig.vbe file, the instructions for ENT and DEV are incorrect.

So...instead of RestoreConfig.vbe, you can just import the saved config file into BizTalk Configuration and apply it.

You will then have to restore the SSO Master Secret: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc296749%28v=bts.10%29.aspx
