Windows Developer Preview can't log in after install some Windows Updates


  • I just installed all the Windows Developer Preview updates on my Lenovo s10-2 netbook and on my Desktop PC and when the computers were restarted they can't log in at all. Just the taskbar appears and the HDD activity LED stays lit and no application is started. The start screen is loaded incomplete and the tiles only appear as colored boxes with nothing inside them.
    I perform a system restore and Windows still with the problem.

    How I can do?

    Have you tried Refresh your PC option? It will reinstall Windows but keep your personal data. Any 3rd party software will need to be reinstalled.

    1. Pressing F8 at boot takes you straight into the menu
    2. Click on Troubleshoot
    3. Click on Refresh your PC
    4. Follow on screen guide.
