As per my understanding, Data Mining is not only theoretical, it helps us developing better models in production. It aims at the real business requirements.
Without the theory of Data Mining with SQL Server book, how can we put it into practice? With the theory of Data Mining, we can use it in real business production environment. And make it to fit the real business production environment. As to the gap between
the theory of Data Mining with SQL Server 2008 book and the real business requirements, it really depends on the real business requirements. Because everyone's preferences are not the same, for the same environment, you may choose a choice, other may choose
another choice. It all depend on themselves.
