Warning when publishing console program as webjob RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    We get this warning when we publish (using VS 2015) a console program as a webjob:

    1>------ Build started: Project: DagligStatistik, Configuration: Release Any CPU ------
    1>E:\Webs\xxxxxx\DagligStatistik\DagligStatistik.csproj(103,3): warning MSB4011: "E:\Webs\xxxxxx\packages\Microsoft.Web.WebJobs.Publish.1.0.4\tools\webjobs.targets" cannot be imported again. It was already imported at "E:\Webs\xxxxxx\DagligStatistik\DagligStatistik.csproj (101,3)". This is most likely a build authoring error. This subsequent import will be ignored.
    1>  DagligStatistik -> E:\Webs\xxxxxx\DagligStatistik\bin\Release\DagligStatistik.exe
    ========== Build: 1 succeeded, 0 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========
    E:\Webs\xxxxxx\DagligStatistik\DagligStatistik.csproj(0,0): Warning MSB4011: "E:\Webs\xxxxxx\packages\Microsoft.Web.WebJobs.Publish.1.0.4\tools\webjobs.targets" cannot be imported again. It was already imported at "E:\Webs\xxxxxx\DagligStatistik\DagligStatistik.csproj (101,3)". This is most likely a build authoring error. This subsequent import will be ignored.
    Web App was published successfully http://xxxxxxetinformatics.azurewebsites.net/

    Why and how to make it 'go away'?

  • It indicates that the project is importing that target twice. If you remove one of the imports on line 101 or 103, is the problem resolved?
