I accidentally deleted files from an Azure storage RRS feed

  • Workaround: If replication type is set to RA-GRS, Azure provides a secondary Read-access url for your storage. You can access secondary location by appending -secondary to your storage name. For example, if your primary endpoint is something.blob.core.windows.net, then you can access your secondary location by using this endpoint: something-secondary.blob.core.windows.net. This wouldn't work if the replication type is set to GRS. You need to contact Azure support and they can try to recover deleted storage accounts and deleted containers. To avoid accidental deletions in future, you can use locks.

I also, recommend you to check our new feature "Soft delete for Azure Storage Blobs now in public preview" enables you to save and recover your data where blobs or blob snapshots are deleted. This protection extends to blob data that is erased as the result of an overwrite.
