Exchange monitoring all meetings made in server RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are building an application around Exchange 2010. We wish to work out what is the best way to get Exchange to notify our application whenever a new meeting has been created/modified by any user configured on the exchange server. Is there any way we can create our own plugin in exchange to send notifications wtr when a new meeting is created?

Currently we are thinking of going down the path of polling the application but we would prefer something a lot cleaner using a managed API if possible please

  • This doesn't seem to have anything to do with Outlook programming at all, which is the focus of this forum.

You would want to use Exchange Web Services (EWS) for what you want, try this forum for Exchange programming: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrdevelopment/threads
