SQL server 2008 - Open Table RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I just installed SQL Server Express 2008 with advance features. I am a very biginner so have to bear the little knowlwdge I have.

I managed to create a table in my database. I want to fill some data on the table. What I usually do with SQL 2005 is right click on the table and there is a menu called "Open Table" and I fill the data. But in the express edition 2008 I cant find it . Also I cant find the menu to create triggers , Views . Are these features not avaliable on the 2008 express edition or is it named sothing else ?

Is there a good resource you can point me to get familiar with SQL 2008 express

  • You will be able to open the new table from SSMS or SSMS express and add data to them.
You can see views under the database icon , triggers (db) from database->programmability->Databasetriggers and triggers (table) from table ->triggers.

    Thanks, Leks
