BodyIndexFrame in Kinect UWP RRS feed

  • Question

  • I couldn't find the BodyIndex framesource in the UWP apis.

How do I access the bodyindex frames with the new Windows::Media::Capture::Frames apis ?

    Thanks !

  • body index is one of the custom sources exposed by Kinect. When enumerating the source types look for one with format properties: MajorType "Video" & Subtype "L8". One byte per-pixel format where 0xff (255) means no body and values 0 to 5 are body indexes.

For further details (code with implementation described above) you can take a look at my "work in progress" library at github:

    MultiK2/Sensor.cs

    MultiK2/BodyIndexFrameReader.cs
