Looking for a word type on a cell RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everyone,

I'm trying to develop a code which finds, inside a cell, a word containing earth coordinates.

For example, a cell contains the following text:

Target found on coordinates 422259N 1213512E with an elevation of 300ft.

I want to obtain the part "422559N 1213512E" with the split function, for example, and then analyze it, which is the main objective of the code. How could i do it? I have multiple cells with multiple coordinates and that's why i'd like to perform it by code.

It's important to mention that the coordinates are not always preceded by the word "coordinates" or similar, and they are not always in this format, sometimes there is no space between latitude and longitude.

Does anyone know how i could do it?

    Thank you.

  • Hi jmateu,

I may be able to understand what you want to achieve, and to make a sample code.
But I am not sure how your real data is.
Could you insert a screenshot in your post or share it by cloud storage (OneDrive, Dropbox, etc)?

    # If it is hard, please copy real cell value and paste it as a text in your post.
