[UWP][XBOX] Can't Sign Into Xbox Live - SignInResult.UserInteractionRequired RRS feed

  • I am developing a UWP game for Xbox One with Unity through the Creators Program. I have built the game in Unity using the 10.0.16299.0 SDK and the .NET Scripting backend. The game works fine on my PC when running in Unity or through visual studio after building in Unity in a debug build. However, if I deploy the game to my Xbox One or install on my PC with a release build it runs for a few seconds and appears to hang or just closes. I stepped through UserProfile.cs from the Unity Prefab provided by Microsoft while remotely debugging on the Xbox. It calls XboxLiveUser.User.SignInSilentlyAsync() and the SignInResult is UserInteractionRequired. It then calls XboxLiveUser.SignInAsync() which never seems to return. The docs describe the UserInteractionRequired result but I don't understand why a dialog isn't appearing or what I need to do? It's odd since when debugging on my PC I see my actual gamer tag and gamer score appear properly.
