Run.get_context() is returning nothing in Python RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to use the runlogging so I can see the state of my training jobs, and the sample shows something like this:

    run = Run.get_context()

    run.log('accuracy', rate)

    but Run.get_context() is returning nothing in my training script that is running in Azure ML.  What am I missing?  THis is how I'm kicking off the run:

    py_est = PyTorch(source_directory=outdir,
    script_params=script_params,
    compute_target=self.compute_target,
    entry_script=filename,
    node_count=1,
    conda_packages=['pydot','graphviz','onnx'],
    pip_packages=['numpy','protobuf','opencv-python','matplotlib'],
    use_gpu=info.training.use_gpu)
