Resume event not Firing in windows store apps.

    Question

  • Hi,

     I am trying to implement resume event on my app.

     Application::Current->Resuming   += ref new EventHandler<Platform::Object^>(this, &MainPage::OnResumingApplication);

    void MainPage::OnResumingApplication(Object^ sender, Object^ e)
    {

    //To do

    }

    But the problem is this function is not Firing.Pls help.

  • See How to suspend an app and look at just about any of the samples in the SDK or the wizard generated templates.

    If you have a specific question after doing that them please provide exact details: what are you trying to do? what exactly are you doing to achieve that (code and repro steps)? What is the expected behavior? How does that differ from the actual behavior?

  • What are your repro steps and how are you testing this?

    Remember that the Visual Studio debugger disables suspending and resuming, so you won't see these methods in the debugger unless you synthesize them from Visual Studio's menus.
