  • Hi M H D,

Yes, It's possible when you do not connect to project server. You can synch the project tasks to task list. This means that you only have sharepoint server setup, on a site you can sync the task cretaed from MPP to sharepoint tasks list.

    Does that help?

  • Hi M H D--

The task list in sharepoint list & task cretaed from MPP are quite different functionally. You can see the project tasks in PWA under my tasks/timesheet. Project workspace task list is for the specific list of the task which is not related to MPP tasks. It can be used the way , organization wants like using in Workflow etc.

You can add the Mytask webpart in your project site to display the task created from MPP/PWA.

    Hope that helps.

  • Ok... I got that...
    Thanks for your quick reply...

hey, can you help me on this,
i have integrated tfs and ps 2010 using feature pack, Now i want to sync document between this two, for that their is a two way,

1st is that i can link pwa enterprise project's site to tfs's team project portal site, so that their is always document sync will be their.

and other option is link TFS team project portal site as Pwa project site, for this when i give address of portal site to one of the pwa project from server setting->Operational Polices->Project Site, It gives me an error like this,

So, i have choose another way, save tfs portal site as Template and uploaded that template to pwa site and activate it, after that when i try to create new enterprise project, this template is not listed in project site template...!!!

While google for it, i come across this link, when try to this, their is already Do not configure option for project is disabled...!!

  • Hello Mayur,

Did you activate the “Project Server” & Project Proposal Workflow features in your TFS site? If these features are activated, the PWA site can understand that the TFS site which you are attaching with project can be used as project site.

    Thanks,
