'sumif' function in Mapping Data Flow RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I couldn't find the 'sumif' function in the 'Visual Expression Builder'. Though the documentation has its reference, but 'Visual Expression Builder' doesn't show it in the list of function.

    Help anyone ?

  • sumIf is an aggregate function, so it will only appear in the context of an Aggregate transformation

  • sumIf() is a good solution here. Just use an Aggregate transformation for your solution.

  • Hi mkro,

Thanks for your reply. I was actually trying to do a sql type search case type statement (nested inside a sum) for a computed column, where I need to check different column values in each row. Any suggestions what would be a good way to implement it.

    Thanks,

    Raj

  • Use case funciton to check each value. sumIf is only for aggregation
