iOS Designer Toolbar Button RRS feed

    I don't know why this is so hard to figure out or find documentation on.

    I would like to add a toolbar to the bottom of my iOS application using designer.

    I added the toolbar and lined it up. I came with a Bar Button Item already.

    I am replacing a button that was on the form that I am putting the toolbar on.

    I named the new bar button item the same thing as the old button.

    If I run at that point I get an error that there is already an item with my button's name.

    So I removed the button that was on the form and run again.

    Now I get an error that PlayButton.TouchUpInside += (sender, e) => ..... PlayButton doesn't have TouchUpInside

    Sure enough in the designer when I look at the properties for the new bar button it doesn't have any events associated with it.

    So what I need to know is how do I get a bar button to have the events that I need using the designer?

    All of the examples I have found are all done in code. Since this project was done using the designer and a storyboard I would like to continue to use the storyboard and designer.

    So where do I get a tutorial or documentation to teach me how to use the designer to do this?

    UIBarButtonItem doesn't have a TouchUpInside event. I think it has a Clicked event instead.
