[UWP]Changing Segoe MDL2 icon RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hallo

    For a favorite button I use the heart outline Icon with a TextBlock. When a user clicks on it the heart should change in a filled heart(FavoriteButton.Text = "";    ). but it just gives the block error and won't change into a Icon.

    Can someone help me how to change a Segoe icon?

    Thank you

  • Hi Neko,

    Could you tell us what is your project type, windows phone 8.1 or UWP app?

    Base on the doc: Segoe UI Symbol icon list, the heart should be U+E00B, we use  to let XAML understand its a symbol but we use \u to let code treat it as a symbol.

    FavoriteButton.Text = "\uE00B";
    Hope helps.
