how do I create a Visual Studio script for WINRE RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to create an executable for the windows recovery environment menu, I am using Visual Studio c#.  I create a script and add it into the recovery menu  where I see it listed but when I try to run it I get the error (program failed to initialize properly 0xc000015) which appears to be a .net framework error.  how would I create an exe that would not require the .net framework since winre does not load it?

  • C# applications are, by definition, .NET applications.

To create an application that does not need .NET, you'll have to change programming languages. In Visual Studio, only C++ offers project types for applications that are independent of .NET.
