WPF forms from an add-in RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I am currently working on an Word Add-in's project that launches a windows form. In this windows form, I am heavily using images for backgrounds of controls and I need the form and controls resize to any resolution. So, I need vector images for backgrounds. I know that WPF supports vector images.

My question is, how good an add-in project supports launching WPF forms. Also, I don't have any idea how widely WPF is being used and any known issues in its implementation. If there are serious issues in its implementation, our customers don't like use our add-in application.

    Thanks in advance,

    Praveen

  • Hi Surya,

Thanks for posting in the MSDN Forum.

You can add a custom WPF control in you add-in project. You need Build you project before you can see it on the toolbox. If you have any questions please feel free to let me know.

    Have a good day,

    Tom
