VSTO 2010 deployment frustration (.Net 4.0) RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an excel template published in local intranet. the problem is that some computer can run the template but other cannot. All users have same roles

    Only i have to add the Key EnableVSTOLocalUNC:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Vsto Runtime Setup\v4]

    "EnableVSTOLocalUNC"=dword:00000001

  •  I m really confused.

    is there any local policis that i have to create or edit to let all user from any computer in local network to run this template.

  • Make sure on these systems where your solution is not running that .Net program support is enabled. You do that by going to the Control Panel > Programs and Features > Change > Add or Remove and then check each Office app and ensure that the .Net Programmability Support is enabled.

    Yuri : I already refer to that link and evreything is set correctly, It s really confusing. maybe because i m working with Net.4 and office 2010.

    Rich : I verifed all office app and .Net Programmability Support is enabled.
