Build hangs on OS X RRS feed

I am demoing XS on an OS X 10.8.2 Retina MBP. I have had a good number of glitchy errors but nothing show stopping, until now. At some point in the last day the small project I am working on began to freeze every time I build. I get the beach ball of death and XS consumes 100% of one core and hops from core to core. I don't see an output window and the console logs offer no help. Any suggestions on how to diagnose my issue? Unfortunately my demo may be ending on this note :-(

Answered myself by opening another project and enabling the output window (couldn't be enabled from the problem project before it hung.) It showed me that at some point during the development process an external source file had been corrupted and as soon as the compiler encountered the errors it would hang. One might hope for a little better error handling but I imagine this will come.
