Lower Z axis of start menu? Accidentally clicking on it in games..

    Question

  • Most; if not all fullscreen applications are often interrupted by placing my cursor near the start menu.

In directx apps, it often doesn't show the start menu, but will still click to it. When it does, you go to desktop and start opens/you go to metro.

As you can probably guess, this is very distracting and irritating. Any way to modify this behaviour?

  • Well, disabling the red pill in registry does the trick. But if I can't access metro, what's the point? :p

  • Having that issue while playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 only (tried a bunch of other different games and had no problems at all... in fact this is the only thing that's been bothering me.. other than that Windows 8 looks awsome :)
