Two Circles - Shade Intersection RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have two shapes - Circles that intersect each other in MS Word 2007.

I need to shade the intersection. Is that possible?

    Thank you.

  • This appears to be another end-user level question. Unfortunately, I can't move questions from this forum to Answers:

FWIW, though, check out Drawing Tools/Format/Fill/Gradient/More gradients, the Gradient tab in the Fill Effects dialog box. Experiement with the Transparency sliders.

  • Hi hrubesh,

You can make two chord shapes, each half the size of the shaded area with the desired shading, invert one chord, align & group the chords, then position them over the intersection.

    Cheers
