WinCE5.0 system time delay while updating minutes from rtc. RRS feed

  • In WinCE5.0 , PXA270 processor board , the minutes of system time getting updated after some seconds delay RTC, how can i rectify this issue? how can i make it change simultaneously???

  • Do you mean that, if you change the RTC (the internal one or are you using another?) the system time is not updated immediatly? Are you looking at the time displayed in the taskbar or are you calling GetSystemTime?

  • hi Luca ,

               when we click the time task bar, the saperate window will open , in that we can see the time in (HR:MIN:SEC)(10:32:59), in that saperated window after a sec the time changes to (10:33:00), in time task bar minutes changing after 20 sec delay. not constant 20 secs, some times 2 sec, some tyms 10 sec. how can i make it change simultaneously both in task bar and saperated window.

  • I think that the clock on the taskbar is updated by a thread which is triggered every 30'' (see CTaskBar::TimerAdmin in %_WINCEROOT%\PUBLIC\SHELL\OAK\HPC\EXPLORER\TASKBAR\taskbar.cpp) so you have the delay
