Where and How to put a program "About" page and link?

In my windows 8 app review a couple weeks ago by Microsoft I was told I need to have an "about" page that I will put things like my company name, URL, links to my privacy statement, etc.

I can't find any samples that show this. I went through about 10 samples and none of them have about pages.

Ideas? (besides maybe microsoft should follow it's own standards in the samples)

Put it on your settings pane. See Guidelines for app settings (Metro style apps) and the App settings sample

To clarify: an about pane itself is not required, but it is generally a good idea and can be a good place to put required elements such as your privacy statement (if needed).
