Sync Group Refresh Schema does not retrieve all tables RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to sync my local DB to the Azure DB. The Sync has all green check marks and seems to be connected. When I refresh the schema I only get the AspNetRoles, AspNetUserClaims and those types of tables (Identity related tables that were created using a MVC5 web application)

I don't get any of the Schemas for my Custom tables like Customer, Products and Inventory.  The custom tables do have a lot of data.... could this be why they are not refreshing?

  • Hi,

Please make sure that those tables contain primary key. Data Sync Service will only show those tables with primary key on the portal.

  • First, you should check the table has primary key.

Second, you should check the tables column datatype, if your column datatype is non-system defined type, then the datasync will not display the table.

For example, if the column type is int, data sync works well, but if the column type is udt(int), then data sync will not display the column in the sync rules page.
