Blazor Tooling Issues - cannot create ASP.net Core Web Application based on Blazor Client side template RRS feed

I am following this tutorial at approximately 18:30 he creates a new project from ASP.NET Core Web Application, that all works the same for me.

However, I do not have the Client Side Blazor template, and there is no template that matches this after I click "get additional templates"

    What am I missing here?

Client side Blazor was in preview until today: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/aspnet/blazor-webassembly-3-2-0-now-available/. You probably need the newest version of VS, or to scroll back through the blog articles until you match the Preview version of Blazor that you are working with, and then follow the template installation instructions.

Just me being curious here.... but how is it possible for someone to have made this tutorial a year ago?

Blazor has been in preview for more than 2 years, or more accurately, it was an experimental technology for quite some time: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/aspnet/blazor-experimental-project/

They released a server-side version last year. Tooling has been available to support the experimental version for a long time.

After the update you alerted me to the options shows up.

Made some progress since and I have created a new thread.
