issue with ASR RPO is 15 hours ago RRS feed

  • we have ASR configured with VMware earlier replication working fine, but since one week there ware some issue. RPO has exceeds, some time RPO getting 3 minutes, mostly night (not in working hours) and some time it get's 2 days we don't know what is wrong with Our asr

  • As per my experince, your RPO increases and decreases based on the amount of data remaining to be replicated to Azure Storage for protection. 

    for example, if there is increase in VM storage, the RPO tends to increase as it will take time to fully replicate the changes.

    ASR has churn limitation. if you application create data more then ASR handle you will get RRO has exceeds..

    please check Azure Site Recovery churn limits and your changes data.

    actually we have SQL server replicated on Azure site there we have limited churn limits

    so we just move advance SKU and it got resolved
