Click on depthImage to get real world 3D position - SkeletonPoint RRS feed

  • I would like to be able to click on the depth Image (WPF) to get the real world position of the clicked pixel.

    Previously, I was able to do this with a global planarImage variable and a mouse Event handler, but now, I can't seem to make it work, as the new architecture disposes of the depthImageFrame.

    Does anybody know how to transfer the depthImageFrame outside of the "using" statement in Kinect SDK 1? Or even better, how to send it to a mouseEventHandler?

    This is the statement I would like to use:

    Microsoft.Kinect.SkeletonPoint Mouse3D= depthFrame.MapToSkeletonPoint(Mouse_X, Mouse_Y);
