Basic Auth Header using WCF-Custom Adapter (HTTP header authorization) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all

    I've successfully configured a send port using the WCF-Custom adapter. It’s using a basicHttpBinding with transport security (HTTPS).

    However, the java web service requires a basic auth header (instead of a WS-Security header). How can I accomplish this?

    I’ve already tried to:
    - Set credentials on the adapter -> no impact
    - Adding the header using msg(HTTP. UserHttpHeaders ) -> header still not present
    - Set the msg(WCF. ) property -> results in a SOAP-header

    Any suggestions?

    Regards,
    Kantiran

  • Hi all

    FYI: I've solved the problem using a custom WCF behavior extension.
