  • Have you configured Database mail yet?
    Configure Database Mail

    Sending test mail will not work until this is done.

    Hope that helps,

  • Hi,

    In these situations, sometimes the SQL service restart helps.

    what is the result of the following command sysmail_help_queue_sp:
    EXEC msdb.dbo.sysmail_help_queue_sp @queue_type = 'mail';

    Could you please check that .net Framework 3.5 has been installed.

  • Hi,

    EXEC msdb.dbo.sysmail_help_queue_sp @queue_type = 'mail';

    State is showing as Inactive .

    I will install .Net Framework 3.5 and restart the SQL services and keep you posted .

  • It happened after what kind of manipulation? Could provide this log?

    Make sure your smtp server doesn't require any kind of extra authentication such as ssl.
