SSRS reports not loading for internal users but loads for external users RRS feed

  • Hi, we have a problem where we have users from two different domain controllers logging into the same SharePoint site which contains business intelligence.

    Basically this problem began to occur when a new firewall was installed. In short let's just keep it simple and try to test the SSRS data source as either user which uses Kerberos. Here is the scenario:

    1) For an external user i.e. outside our organization and authenticating against the External DC, they get success on the connection and can load reports.

    2) For an internal user authenticating against our Internal DC. They get "Cannot convert claims identity to windows token" and hence reports won't load.

    Please see screenshot below. Any ideas of what the issue might be?
