Connect to Active Directory from Excel, query for information, populate into worksheet RRS feed

  • I am attempting to write a Macro in Excel 2010 that will do the following:

    • Connect to a defined Active Directory, pull User Account information based upon whether they are a member of a specific Organization Name, and return specific attribute values to be written into an Excel Sheet

    I need to know how to define the connection string into the LDAP, and recursively query and return specific attributes from each User Record that matches each of the unique Organization Names which will be listed in an Excel Sheet, in the same Excel Table where the Macro is being invoked.
