how to write a stored procedure using C# codes for sql server 2008 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

      I have made my front end software using WPF. the software communicate to sql server which resides in a LAN computer. I have used separate sql statement within the C# code itself for retrieving data, edit data, delete data,insert data etc;

     Now I want to access the Data Base from many client machines. to avoid conflict in simultaneous access of the data base the stored procedure have some option , which lock the data base temporarily while some user update it. and the other user needed to wait for the first user to complete the operation.

    this made me to think migrate from sql statements written in C# code(WPF) to Stored procedure in SQL server 2008. but I think we have to start the project as something like "SQL server type" . here my entire code written in WPF.

    how I can approach this situation

    thanks in advance
