PushChannelExpired property in Microsoft.Azure.NotificationsHub.Installation object won't take value change RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to set the PushChannelExpired property to true in the  Microsoft.Azure.NotificationsHub.Installation object.  Is this allowed?  I have set it to true and then created or updated an Installation in the NotficationHub, but every time I try to set it the value remains as false.

So is this value tied to something related to the device?  Or should I be able to change this value?

    Any direction is appreciated.

  • You can't change it, it's a read-only property.

  • Brian, can you share with me why you want to set that value?

  • John,

I thought be setting the property to false, I could make the device inactive.  By inactive I mean that the device is still installed in the Azure Notification hub, but would not be sent messages.  Does that make sense?
