【ASDK App Service】Failed to create web application after complete App Service Deployment due to Storage critical warning RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi experts,

We complete the ASDK App Service deployment successfully. But when we try to create a new web application from the UI console. The error message prompts that a new web app can not be created due to some errors. We check the monitoring UI, a Storage critical warning is shown. We have not found the log messages for more details.

Below are some related screenshots for your reference.  Anyone could kindly help and direct me? Thanks in advance!

Answers

  • Hello Devin,

The potential reasons we suspect are:

    1. The ASDK version(we are using 1803, not 1805).

    2. The role of  AAD account of Azure used to register Azure Stack to Azure is not Admin of subscription, just have some necessary permissions to deploy ASDK.

For best results, we suggest deploying ASDK 1805 with App Services 1.2

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your time and interest in Azure Stack.

If you continue experience any issues with ASDK release, feel free to contact us.

     Thanks,

  • Update again.

The Storage and Web.Admin critical warning dispeared, and the managed servers (publisher, web worker roles) are ready now. But still can not create web app. Error Message is "Could not create web app, something went wrong while creating web app".

But web app still could not be created successfully. Below is screenshot for your reference. Thanks.

There is no available App Service in the app service category as below screenshot:
