Parent Object Boundaries RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a way to prevent parent object boundaries from being displayed?  When you are working on an object deep in a tree, it is very confusing to see a dozen or more overlapping blue rectangles...  I'd prefer to only see the bounds and handles for the object I am currently working with.

  • Hi Sam

You'll have to give a bit more detail, I think.

But if I understand your problem correctly: one way to get the blue rectangles to disappear is to double-click on the object you are working on in your Objects&Timeline palette.

This makes it the project insertion point, but if you are only working on the object's properties, it's not a problem - just something to be aware of if you are planning on adding more children.
