  • Hi Hiteq,

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

    Please try with following steps:

    1. Go into RegEdit and set the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU folder.

    2. DoubleClick on UseWUServer(UseWindowsUpdateServer) and change the value to 0

    3.  If the value is already 0 this fix may not work for you.  You may need to restart afterwards.

  • Hi,

You can try enabling .NET Framework 3.5 using this method:

     https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/install/dotnet-35-windows-10

The error code "0x80070002" often means the file or folder cannot found, you could take the following methods to see if there are any system errors and repair missing or corrupted system files. Use System File Checker to repair damaged Windows files

      • Open an elevated command prompt.
      • Run the "sfc /scannow" command.

    refer: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudio/en-US/6eced4a6-4649-4583-acd9-343857413bd2/net-framework-35-windows-10-error-0x80070002?forum=netfxsetup

    Best regards,

    Joyce
