Siging a driver RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Everybody!

I'm New to driver development. I've some problems with signing drivers.

I want to install my driver on a machine with admin privileges and don't getting the error for unsigned drivers on x64 machines.

    There are some ways:

    1. Buying a commercial certificate and signing the driver with that.

    2. Using test mode signing. and finally

    3. Disabling "driver signature enforcement"

What that I hope to do is to create a .cer file, and to sign the driver with that. Afterwards, every time that I wish to install that driver on a machine, doing that with first installing .cer file to the local machine stores, and then installing the driver. Is this possible? any other solutions?
